Joyce Hinton, age 64, of Walker County, anesthetized abroad on Monday, November 11, 2019.
She was built-in Oct. 16, 1955 in Chattanooga, Tn. to her backward parents, Joseph Deforest Shropshire and Willie Clyde Shepard Shropshire.
She is survived by her daughters, Leslie Sumekia Hinton-Phillips and Lisa Monaé Hinton; grandchildren, Kennedi Elizabeth Jackson and Kylan Edward Jackson; brothers, Bobby L. Shropshire, Zacius K. Shropshire, both of Chattanooga, Tn., and Kenneth (Jean) Shropshire of Jacksonville, N.C.; sisters, Willie Mae Davis of Valdosta, Ga., Carolyn A. Hardy of Dallas, Ga., Deborah Wright of Fayetteville, N.C., Vivian Dixon of LaFayette, Ga., Juanita Faye Shropshire of Jacksonville, Fl., Christine Smith, Regina Shropshire of Chattanooga, Tn., Carolis (Tommie) Harris of Chattanooga, Tn., and Avis (Greg) Benn of Savannah, Ga.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, added relatives, and friends.
A canonizing account will be captivated Saturday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. in the Willis Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Windell Smith as eulogist.
